This week something beautiful happened! I went outside and there were blossoms everywhere! The potatoes had blossomed. The squash blossoms had opened up. Even the peas had blossomed.

When you’re growing, the flowering stage is what you wait for! This means the food isn’t far behind. It’s what you hope for when you plant the seed and watch it grow. As it matures into a seedling, you never truly know if it’s going to make it, but you desperately want it to.

Once you see blossoms, its time to break out into a happy dance because you know that through prayer, preparation, and care, you are one step closer to growing something that will sustain not only your family, but others as well.
